Your account and its server-side backup cannot be restored after deletion. Export or keep anything you need before continuing.
Delete in the app
- Open Snuffo and go to Settings.
- Open Account. If needed, sign in again to confirm that the account is yours.
- Select Delete account.
- Read the confirmation and select Delete account again.
The deletion request is sent immediately. When it succeeds, Snuffo signs the account out. If the session has expired or the service is temporarily unavailable, the app will show an error and no account data will be silently removed.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address used for your Snuffo account. Use the subject “Delete my Snuffo account”. If you used Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, send the request from the Apple relay address or include it in the message.
Email the account-deletion request
We may ask for limited information needed to verify account ownership. We will not ask for your password or login code. Verified web requests are normally completed within 30 days, and we will confirm completion or explain any lawful delay.
What account deletion removes
- Your Snuffo authentication account and email association.
- Your cloud backup, including synced pet profiles, selected pet, country, scan history, and queued local activity in that backup.
- Profile and pet avatar images stored in your private Snuffo account folder.
- The link between your account and product requests that are retained as catalog contributions.
What may remain
Product requests and barcode contributions may remain in de-identified form because they support catalog accuracy and provenance. They will no longer be linked to your deleted account. Anonymous, aggregate analytics already collected with your consent cannot be tied back to your Snuffo account because Snuffo never links the analytics identifier to the account.
We may retain minimal records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving an active dispute. Provider backups may take additional time to cycle out under their normal retention process.
Local data is a separate choice
Deleting the account does not erase pet profiles, scans, reminders, notes, or photos already stored on your current phone. This lets you continue locally without an account if you choose.
To remove the local copy, go to Settings → Privacy & data → Erase all local data. Uninstalling the app also removes its local storage, subject to any iCloud or Android device backup you control through your platform settings.
Sign in with Apple
If you used Sign in with Apple, you can also review apps connected to your Apple Account in your device settings under Apple Account → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple. Removing Snuffo there controls Apple’s connection; it does not replace the Snuffo account-deletion steps above.
Deletion did not work?
Tell us the error and the email or Apple relay address used for the account. Never send a password or login code.
